The original drawing "Ella the Fierce" by Mika Denny was created in 2022. The 16x21" work was created with pan pastel and charcoal/pastel pencils on toned paper and embellished with washi paper in some of the garment areas.

This work was a Finalist in the 2023 American Women Artists’ Annual Museum Exhibit at Brookgreen Gardens in South Carolina. She also won “Best in Show” at the City of Laguna Beach Annual Juried Exhibition in 2023.
